Cartamundi returned to normal operations

The past couple of months have been challenging all over the world, also for Cartamundi.

The health and safety of our employees is our core priority. At the same time, we work on the continuation of service to our customers. To safeguard the output of our factories across the globe, Cartamundi has implemented strict health and safety protocols – many of which are more stringent than governmental guidelines.

The Cartamundi facilities in Spain, Japan, India, Brazil, Germany, Poland, France, and Belgium were already operational.

In the US, The United States Playing Card Company in Erlanger, Kentucky, has restarted the production on May 11, 2020. The facilities in Dallas, Texas, and East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, have restarted operations on May 18, 2020, and will both continue the production of essential face shields.

The factory in Waterford, Ireland, continues with the assembly of essential medical test kits and has gradually reopened for regular business on May 18, 2020.

This means that since Monday, May 18, 2020,  all Cartamundi facilities worldwide are back in operation. It is, however, possible that the capacity is reduced because of new work processes or the availability of raw materials.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and we will be working closely with you, our customers and partners, to identify your needs and priorities.

Thank you for your continued support!
