Experts, innovators — in fact anyone who creates or markets board games — will have a chance to find out at an exclusive industry-only event event hosted by Cartamundi, the world’s market leader in playing cards, card games and board games, at Spiel’16, the annual International Games Forum, at Messe Essen in October.
Games publishers and game developers are all invited to the event called You create it, we make it. Taking place on Thursday the 13th of October from 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm in the Saal Deutschland during Essen Spiel. The event will focus on the latest developments, market trends and innovations that are driving the modern board game industry.
As well as presentations from senior Cartamundi strategists, You create it, we make it will feature keynotes from two star speakers. Tom Vasel, co-host of The Dice Tower, the top board game review site and YouTube channel, will discuss Connected Games. Klemens Franz, the winner of the 2016 Spiel des Jahres award for excellence in game design for his exciting and beautiful game Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King, will offer a keynote on How to Upgrade Your Game.
