Your function:
As Business Partner Finance, you are the primary Process & Data Technologies (PDT) counterpart for our Finance, Controlling and Procurement organization. You will be based at our Group Headquarters in Turnhout, Belgium, report to the VP Process & Data Technologies, and travel occasionally.
You connect business priorities with process, data and application capabilities across the finance and procurement domain. Working closely with global and regional stakeholders, you define and maintain the functional roadmap, translating strategic objectives into initiatives that improve processes, applications, data quality and business performance.
As a trusted partner to Finance, Controlling and Procurement leaders, you support the design, standardization and optimization of end-to-end processes, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, controlling, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and related compliance processes. You help business teams balance operational needs, standardization requirements and governance expectations while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
You also act as a senior functional expert within our SAP landscape. Leveraging your expertise in SAP FI/CO and its integration with procurement and operational processes, you collaborate with architects, engineers, specialists and external partners to ensure solutions remain stable, scalable and aligned with business priorities. You support change initiatives from requirements definition through testing, release management and transition into operations.
In addition, you partner with data and analytics teams to improve data quality, reporting and governance within the finance domain. You contribute to portfolio decisions, budget planning and supplier management, ensuring transparency, value creation and alignment with the wider Process & Data Technologies roadmap.
Throughout, your focus is on building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring Process & Data Technologies is recognized as a genuine business partner that enables sustainable business transformation.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in finance technology, SAP finance, ERP transformation, business applications, process improvement or finance business partnering, preferably within an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong and proven experience with SAP FI/CO is essential, including integration with procurement, materials management, sales, logistics, reporting and external applications.
- Solid understanding of finance, controlling and procurement processes such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost and profit center accounting, financial reporting and internal controls.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions, process improvements, implementation priorities and roadmap decisions.
- Experience supporting SAP change delivery, testing, release management, incident escalation and operational transition activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business, finance, technology and external partner environments.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to leverage reporting and business insights to support decision-making and performance improvement.
- Structured, pragmatic communicator who can engage effectively with both senior leadership and operational teams.
- Experience working in complex matrix organizations with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, VIM, travel and expense solutions, Power BI, finance automation platforms or application portfolio management is considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
