Field Service Engineer – Macau
As a Field Service Engineer - Macau, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the successful deployment, installation, and ongoing field service support of our electronic and digital products.
This role combines hands-on technical work, customer-facing ownership, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring our customers experience seamless deployments, reliable performance, and outstanding service throughout the product lifecycle.
Working closely with internal product, service, and manufacturing teams, as well as customers and third-party partners, you will act as a trusted technical expert and primary point of contact for deployments and field service activities.
This position will be located in Macau. Preference will be given to suitably qualified Macau residents, in accordance with local labour regulations.
Your function:
Product deployment & installation:
- Coordinate and support new product deployments at customer sites from start to finish
- Act as the main technical point of contact for deployments, internally and externally
- Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and customer training
- Work with third-party integrators or service partners when required to ensure smooth deployments
Field service & customer support:
- Perform preventive maintenance, warranty services, and on-site troubleshooting
- Respond to technical issues quickly and professionally, minimizing customer downtime
- Provide remote and on-site support as required
- Ensure consistent service quality aligned with customer expectations and gaming requirements
Coordination & project ownership:
- Organize schedules and logistics related to deployments and service visits
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors
- Support sales and commercial teams with technical input when needed
- Ensure deployment timelines and service commitments are met
Documentation & reporting:
- Document installations, site visits, and service activities with clear and accurate reports
- Maintain up-to-date customer, product, and service records
- Share insights and field feedback to support product, process, and service improvements
Customer success:
- Build strong working relationships with customers
- Anticipate customer needs and contribute to long-term customer satisfaction and retention
- Focus on delivering a reliable, high-quality service experience at every touchpoint
Your profile:
- Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on technical experience
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as field service, deployment, or technical support
- Background in electromechanical systems; exposure to electronic or digital products is an advantage
- Comfortable working in secure customer environments, including gaming environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Clear communicator with the ability to train and guide customers confidently
- Comfortable with physically active work environments and moderate lifting tasks
- Experience with CRM tools, reporting systems, or structured documentation is a plus
- Familiarity with PCB assembly or injection-moulded components is an advantage
- English required; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly preferred.
- Valid driving license (Macau driving license or a license legally recognized for driving in Macau).
- Willingness to travel within Macau and, when required, across the APAC region
