Group Lean Master Champion

As our Group Lean Master Champion, you will play a central role in shaping and sustaining the company’s global Continuous Improvement and Lean culture. Working closely with the Group VP Industrial Strategy, you will define the enterprise Lean transformation agenda and guide its deployment across all regions. This is a highly influential role that partners with executive leadership, supports strategic industrial initiatives, and builds Lean capability throughout the organization. Your work will directly strengthen operational performance, accelerate transformation, and embed Lean principles into the company’s global operating model.

 

Your function:

  • Lead the design and execution of the global Lean transformation architecture, integrating Lean principles, governance frameworks, and standardized operating mechanisms into the company’s end‑to‑end industrial system.

  •  Build global Lean capability by technically coaching site leadership and local Lean champions, delivering advanced training modules, and ensuring adherence to defined deployment standards, certification paths, and competency models.

  • Oversee the implementation of the Cartamundi Lean Business System, including the development, validation, and maintenance of standard work, process‑improvement methodologies, and diagnostic tools used across all manufacturing sites.

  • Drive Hoshin Kanri deployment by translating corporate objectives into measurable site‑level KPIs, daily management routines, and structured performance reviews, ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment across the organization.

  • Partner with Site and Group leadership to conduct operational assessments, identify wastes, and build multi‑year Improvement roadmaps.

  • Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving using advanced Lean methodologies.

 

Your profile:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or a related field, supported by at least 10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement.

  • You bring extensive hands‑on Lean implementation experience across multiple global manufacturing sites and have led large‑scale Lean transformations.

  • You have deep expertise in Lean tools and methods, including Lean Leadership, Daily Management, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri , Standard Work, Gemba, VSM, 5S, Kanban, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving.

  • You have a proven ability to deliver measurable business impact through transformation initiatives in complex, multi‑site environments.

  • You communicate with clarity, influence stakeholders at all levels, and excel in training, coaching, and capability building.

  • You are comfortable working in diverse cultural environments and collaborating across global teams.

  • You think strategically, act decisively, and bring strong business acumen to every initiative you lead.

  • You are willing and able to travel globally (50–75%) to support site deployments and leadership coaching
