  • Identify and assess emerging productinfeed technologies, including:
  • Servotimed infeed conveyors
  • Product singulation and collation systems
  • Flighted and indexing infeed modules
  • Robotic pick andandplace systems for product loading
  • Lead onsite trials and technical validation of new packaging and infeed technologies, measuring seal quality, registration accuracy, infeed stability, and throughput.
  • Build business cases for technology adoption focused on OEE, waste reduction, cycle-timetime improvements, and scalability.

2) Global Flow Packaging Leadership

  • Develop and maintain global standards for flowwrap machine setup, sealing parameters, film management, and infeed system performance.
  • Define reference settings and guidelines for:
  • Film tension and tracking
  • Fin and end seal temperature, pressure, and dwell
  • Infeed timing, pitch accuracy, and product spacing
  • Print-totoseal registration
  • Create calibration routines for servo drives, infeed conveyors, sensors, and photoeyes, ensuring consistent global operation.
  • Troubleshoot complex packaging and infeed issues such as inconsistent spacing, misfeeds, seal faults, film alignment issues, and registration drift.

3) Process Standardization

  • Establish global specifications, tolerances, and SOPs for:
  • Infeed system performance
  • Pack length consistency
  • Seal strength and appearance
  • Registration accuracy
  • Film type and machinability
  • Support sites in implementing inline vision checks, seal integrity testing, and data-ddriven process control.
  • Lead continuous improvement with focus on infeed stability, waste reduction, mechanical reliability, and OEE improvement.
