Group Engineer APAC
As Regional Group Engineer for APAC, you will drive engineering projects that support the construction and expansion of factories and production lines across a fast‑growing and diverse region. You ensure technical consistency, guide local engineering teams, and translate the company’s long‑term industrial strategy into a clear technical roadmap and Capex plan. Your leadership strengthens operational performance, accelerates standardization, and brings innovation and sustainability to all APAC sites.
Your function:
- Lead engineering projects for new factory construction and production line installations across APAC, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality delivery.
- Coordinate engineering activities across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with group standards and efficient use of regional resources.
- Support, coach, and develop local engineering teams, promoting collaboration and consistent execution across culturally diverse environments.
- Define and enforce technical standards, specifications, and compliance requirements tailored to APAC regulatory and operational contexts.
- Serve as the key engineering contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Work closely with Site VPs and Operations Directors to build regional Capex plans and feed innovation needs into the Innovation Team.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and OEE improvement across APAC sites.
- Support the deployment of innovative technologies and sustainable engineering solutions in collaboration with Group Engineers and the Innovation Team.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of engineering project management experience in international or multi‑country industrial environments, ideally within APAC.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi‑site engineering projects across diverse regulatory and cultural landscapes.
- Strong technical expertise in factory design, production line installation, robotics, automation, and industrial standards.
- Proficient with CAD tools and project management software; hands‑on and solution‑
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to navigate a dynamic, fast‑growing matrix organization.
- Fluent in English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
- Willing to travel up to 50% across the APAC region.
