Your Opportunity

The Regional Group Engineer leads engineering projects that enable the construction of new factories and production lines across the group. This role ensures technical consistency and alignment by coordinating local engineering teams, managing projects from concept to completion, and enforcing group standards and best practices. Acting as a strategic partner, the Regional Group Engineer translates the three-year business plan into an executable technical roadmap and Capex plan, while driving innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence across all sites.

 

How You Will Contribute

Project Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead regional engineering projects for new factory construction and production line installations.
  • Manage scope, timelines, and budgets for assigned initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-site activities and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.

 

Team Steering & Alignment:

  • Guide and support local engineering teams to ensure consistent technical standards and execution.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between local and group engineering teams.
  • Mentor and develop local engineers throughout project phases.

 

Technical Governance:

  • Define and enforce technical standards, specifications, and compliance requirements across regional projects.
  • Ensure all designs and installations meet group-wide quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Support technical hiring and training at local sites.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the regional engineering point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and local teams.
  • Collaborate with local site VPs and Operations Directors to define Capex plans and feed innovation needs to the Innovation Team.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization across sites.
  • Support implementation of innovative technologies and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Drive OEE improvements and establish standard equipment and processes in collaboration with Group Engineers and the Innovation Team.

 

Who You Are

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–8 years in engineering project management within international manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience in leading multi-site or regional projects and steering engineering teams.
  • Up to 50% travel

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of factory design, production line installation, Robotics, automation and industrial standards.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and project management software.
  • Hands-on problem solver

 

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast growing matrix organization and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in English
