Group Engineer Europe
As Regional Group Engineer for Europe, you will lead engineering projects that enable the construction and expansion of factories and production lines across the region. You act as the technical bridge between Group Engineering and local site teams, ensuring consistent standards, flawless execution, and alignment with the company’s long‑term industrial strategy. Your work directly shapes the regional Capex roadmap and drives innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence across all European sites.
Your function:
- Lead regional engineering projects for new factory builds and production line installations, managing scope, timelines, and budgets from concept to completion.
- Coordinate cross‑site engineering activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and technical alignment across all European locations.
- Guide and support local engineering teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistent execution of group standards.
- Define and enforce technical standards, specifications, and compliance requirements, ensuring all installations meet group‑wide quality, safety, and sustainability expectations.
- Act as the primary engineering point of contact for regional stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Site VPs and Operations Directors to shape Capex plans and translate the three‑year business plan into an actionable technical roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and OEE improvement across sites.
- Support the introduction of innovative technologies and sustainable engineering solutions in partnership with Group Engineers and the Innovation Team.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of engineering project management experience in international manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proven track record leading multi‑site or regional engineering projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of factory design, production line installation, robotics, automation, and industrial standards.
- Skilled in CAD tools and project management software; hands‑on problem solver.
- Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑growing matrix organization.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
- Willing to travel up to 50% across Europe.
