Global HR Director Group Talent Management

 

Your function

As the HR Director, reporting directly to the CHRO, you will build and execute the global talent management strategy, tools and process from the ground up. The HR Director Group Talent Management will be part of the global HR team and work closely together with the regional responsibles and other colleagues in the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Development:

  • Define the Vision: Lead the development of the Group strategy for the CM Academy, focusing on impactful content that drives engagement and growth across the organization.
  • Create a Learning Hub: Build and manage the CM Academy from a systems perspective, ensuring it serves as a comprehensive resource for employee development.
  • Establish a Center of Excellence: Become the go-to expert for the HR community by providing insights and support on learning initiatives and chosen systems, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Drive Strategic Learning Programs: Take charge of designing and implementing group-wide learning initiatives, including onboarding, brand training, and compliance, that empower our employees to excel.
  • Own Development Processes: Lead the creation and refinement of development plans, processes, and templates, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and support individual growth.

Career Management:

  • Develop a Robust Competence Framework: Create and manage a comprehensive competence framework that empowers employees to understand their skills and growth pathways.
  • Enhance Performance Appraisals: Continuously refine performance appraisal tools and processes to ensure they are competency-based and foster meaningful feedback.
  • Collaborate for Clarity: Work closely with the Compensation & Benefits lead to establish a transparent grading framework that aligns with our organizational values and goals.
  • Facilitate Career Mobility: Oversee the internal career market and succession planning processes, ensuring that talent mobility is supported and that employees can thrive in their careers.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Craft an Effective Recruitment Strategy: Design and take ownership of a streamlined group recruitment process that attracts top talent and aligns with our organizational vision.
  • Nurture Global Partnerships: Maintain and strengthen our global recruitment partnerships to enhance our talent acquisition efforts and expand our reach.
  • Champion Employer Branding: Play a key role in developing and promoting our employee brand, showcasing Cartamundi as an employer of choice and highlighting our unique culture and values.

 

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English; additional languages are a nice extra
  • You have 10 years of experience in talent management, this within a corporate, international environment
  • Technical proficiency with learning management systems
  • Experience in developing and implementing competency frameworks
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute effectively and have excellent communication and influencing skills
  • You ate detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement, have digital mindset and are adaptable to changing needs

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
