As Business Development Manager Publishing you will report directly to the VP Business Development BG&G EU.

You will work mainly from home, regular visits of the company’s locations may be stipulated.

 

Your profile:

  • business studies (business admin. + economics) or a related economical apprenticeship + further qualifications
  • appropriate professional background in a comparable position with leadership experience
  • knowledge of the gaming, paper, packaging industry is an advantage
  • understanding of manufacturing standards
  • high affinity for numbers and strong analytical skills
  • strong negotiating skills and decisiveness
  • team player with solution-oriented thinking
  • experiences with controlling instruments (project control tools), MS-Office, ERP-systems, SAP (beneficial)
  • proficiency in English mandatory, any other European language is an advantage

Your tasks:

  • take responsibility for a sustainable and profitable growth in your sales region (margin management, client portfolio)
  • build-up, maintain and develop existing and new business in your sales region
  • follow up innovative requests / processes from customers (outside in approach) together with the design center(s) teams of our factories
  • coordinate and lead forecast planning / budget processes for your sales region
  • lead Account Executives of the Business Development department in your sales region
  • conduct market surveys and competitive analysis
  • take part in fairs and customer events
  • support strategic projects and process optimization
